Tanasha Williams joined the Institute as the Support Services Coordinator in January 2023. Before joining the Institute, she worked with the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office as a case manager and a Thinking for a Change facilitator.
Tanasha has over twenty years of experience in social work, focusing mainly on mental health and education. Tanasha’s passion lies in creating community partnerships for the Institute, removing barriers, and implementing support for students impacted by the criminal legal system. Tanasha holds a BA in Human Services and is currently pursuing her MSW at the Silverman School of Hunter College.
