Ashley Rodriguez

Ashley joined the Institute as the Director of Finance and Operations in January 2023. Before joining the Institute, she was the Senior Director, Operations at East Harlem Scholars Academies. There, she oversaw the business operations for a network of five charter schools serving over 2,000 students in grades K-12. Ashley’s commitment to service has been at the forefront of her professional career in various nonprofit sectors such as operations, finance, grants management, compliance, education and programming, and community engagement. She has a track record of success in developing strategic visions for programs, upholding programming goals and objectives, and managing multi-million-dollar budgets while forming and cultivating positive relationships with key partners. Ashley has had an unwavering commitment to quality education deeply rooted in anti-racist frameworks and data-driven program evaluation, with unique expertise in identifying operational deficiencies and implementing solutions. Ashley has a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology, with a minor in Law, from John Jay College and a Master of Science in Business Management and Leadership from the School of Professional Studies.
