Arianna Martinez – Perry

Arianna Martinez-Perry (they/she) is a proud New Yorker, hailing from the vibrant borough of the Bronx. Their educational journey began at Bard High School Early College, where they accomplished the remarkable feat of graduating with both a high school diploma and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts. Continuing their academic pursuits at Bard College, Arianna focused on Human Rights with a particular emphasis on criminal justice, surveillance, and black history, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Arianna’s commitment to social justice and education led them to spend two impactful years with the Bard Prison Initiative. Initially, they served as an undergraduate Research Assistant, later transitioning into the role of Administrative Assistant after their graduation in 2020. After a sojourn in Atlanta, Arianna returned to their beloved New York City. In August 2023, they embarked on a new chapter of their career by joining the Institute as the Program Associate for College and Career Pathways. In this role, Arianna continues to channel their passion for education and advocacy to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
